Powhatan Community Theatre is a community theater that seeks to produce shows for all ages to enjoy whether acting on stage, helping backstage, or watching the show from the audience. No matter what age or stage of life we have opportunities for you to be involved.

Young Actor's Workshop 2025

PCT presents a Young Actor's Workshop for children and teens aged 10 to 18. Participants will work to grow their acting skills by working on short scenes or skits which they will present in a brief showcase at the end of the workshop.Who: 10- to 18-year-old actors of all skill and experience levels
What: a workshop led by PCT's directors and core staff
When: Friday 9/19, 6:30-8:30, Saturday 9/20, 10:00 start
  – 5:00 free Readers Theater for family and friends
Where: Old Powhatan Baptist Church, 2202 Old Church Rd., Powhatan
How much: $50 per person for the workshop
  – $40 for additional actors from the same family
  – Free to attend the Readers Theater on SaturdayTo register, sign up here. The first 12 actors to sign up will be in the workshop, then we will keep a waitlist in case of cancellations. The deadline to register is August 31.
